Suzuki’s upcoming mid-size SUV, the Victoris, has arrived in Nepal ahead of its official market launch.

Positioned between the Brezza and the Grand Vitara in the company’s lineup, the Victoris is Maruti Suzuki’s second offering in the mid-size SUV category after the Grand Vitara, which was introduced in 2023.

Under the hood, the Victoris shares the Grand Vitara’s powertrain options. Engine options are likely to include a 1.5-litre mild-hybrid petrol unit producing 103hp, alongside a 1.5-litre strong-hybrid setup generating 91hp.

Transmission options should include a 5-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic for the petrol variant, while the hybrid version is paired with an e-CVT.

Design-wise, the Victoris adopts a contemporary SUV profile with distinct styling elements. The front fascia features slim LED headlamps connected by daytime running lights, paired with a sculpted bumper that incorporates a wide air intake and a rugged lower garnish.

From the side, the SUV shows strong shoulder lines, squared wheel arches, and body cladding, with higher trims expected to feature 17-inch dual-tone alloy wheels. At the rear, a sloping tailgate glass adds a sporty touch, while the segmented LED light bar and bold Victoris badging give it a recognizable rear signature.

Inside, the cabin is configured for five occupants and places a strong emphasis on technology and comfort. The dashboard is dominated by a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, complemented by a fully digital instrument cluster of the same size.

The feature list is expected to include wireless smartphone connectivity, a premium multi-speaker sound system with Dolby Atmos support, voice-enabled connected car technology, a panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats, and powered seat adjustment for the driver.

Other features include wireless charging, automatic climate control with rear AC vents, a head-up display, ambient lighting with multiple colour options, and a hands-free electric tailgate.

In terms of safety, the Victoris gets a 5-star rating under Bharat NCAP testing. It is also expected to offer Level 2 advanced driver assistance systems, including adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assistance, and automatic emergency braking, making it one of the more safety-focused offerings in its segment.

The Victoris is likely to be available in six trim levels—LXI, VXI, ZXI, ZXI(O), ZXI+, and ZXI+(O). Once launched, it will enter a competitive mid-size SUV space, taking on established rivals such as the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, and Honda Elevate in the Nepalese market.
